new Sutra is now Sunday — see what's new

A personal AI that lives on your Mac.

Sunday remembers what you tell it, reads your documents and email, researches the web and works in your tools — with its memory in plain markdown files you own. It asks before anything goes out.

Features

Knows your context. Does the work. Asks first.

Sunday ties together your notes, decisions, plans, inbox and learning — and remembers, so you don't have to.

Memory you own

Everything Sunday learns about you lives in plain markdown files in a folder on your disk. Open them in Obsidian, edit them, back them up however you like.

  • Before every reply, it recalls the notes that matter to what you just said.
  • Search runs locally, with on-device embeddings.
  • Delete the folder and it's gone. No cloud copy.

Always asks before acting

Reading is free. Anything that sends, posts, buys or changes something waits for your yes — with exactly what will happen spelled out first.

  • Approve from your Mac, your phone or Telegram.
  • Never types passwords and never deletes for good.

Learns your way — with your OK

Correct how it did something, or let it finish a long task, and Sunday may draft a short procedure for next time. Nothing changes until you read it and approve it.

  • Edit a draft before approving it.
  • Turn off or delete any skill later.

Apps

Six apps built in. Just talk to them.

Each app has its own screen and its own expert inside — say it in plain words, snap a photo, or speak. They all share Sunday's memory, so they already know you. And every one works from your phone.

Astro

Your own jyotishi and Gita companion. Real Vedic charts computed from planetary positions, today's panchang where you live — and what to do and avoid today, in plain words.

  • What's today for me?
  • Should I take this offer?
  • Good dates to sign this month

Speaking

Practise the conversations that matter, out loud — interviews, asking for a raise, negotiating an offer. Honest feedback on 8 skills, your pace and filler words, and progress over time.

  • Mock interview for a PM role
  • Practise asking for a raise

Learning

A tutor that builds a plan from real sources, teaches in small steps, then quizzes you with spaced-repetition flashcards so it actually sticks.

  • I want to learn Rust
  • Quiz me on what's due

Expenses

Log spending in a sentence or a receipt photo. Budgets, trends and a straight answer to “where did my money go?”

  • Spent 450 on lunch
  • How am I doing this month?

Nutrition

Calories and nutrients from plain words or a photo of your plate. A daily healthy score and a forecast of where your weight is heading.

  • Had poha and chai
  • How healthy was my week?

Workouts

Plans for home or gym with a short video for every exercise. Log how it felt; Sunday tells you when to level up, ease off or switch it up.

  • 20-minute home workout
  • Squats felt easy today

Coming next: Habits and Journal.

Sunday Remote

Your Mac's assistant, in your pocket.

Leave Sunday running on your Mac and use all of it from your phone — or any browser, anywhere. Same memory, same apps, same approvals. Add it to your home screen and it feels like an app.

  • Chat and talkType or speak — it answers with everything it knows on your Mac.
  • Approve with a tapAnything outward still waits for you — say yes from wherever you are.
  • All your appsAstro, Speaking, Learning, Expenses, Nutrition and Workouts — each on its own screen.
  • Routines and skillsSee what ran, set up new routines, approve learned skills.
  1. Run sunday remote setup
  2. Open app.sundaybot.me
  3. Type the 8-letter code

And more

One assistant for the rest of your day.

Hands builds to coding agents

“Have Claude Code add dark mode to my blog.” It runs in the background; watch each step, then see exactly what changed.

Researches the web

Searches, reads any page or PDF as clean text, and pulls in whole documentation sections at once.

Reads and writes documents

Drop in a resume, a receipt or a PDF and it remembers it. Ask for a report or a deck and get a real PDF, .docx or .pptx.

Helps you learn for real

Study plans from real sources, then flashcards on a spaced-repetition schedule so it sticks.

Speak instead of typing

Tap the mic on your Mac or phone and just say it. Sunday turns it into text and gets to work.

Routines on a clock

“Every weekday at 9, find three new AI jobs for me.” Runs on its own and reports back.

Connects your tools

Sign in to Notion, Jira, GitHub or Slack with a click, or add local MCP servers just like in Claude Desktop.

Your Chrome, when needed

Sites like Gmail block automated browsers. The Sunday extension uses your signed-in Chrome instead — only its own tabs, every click approved.

Or message it on Telegram

Pair Telegram once to ask, trigger tasks and approve with a tap. It only ever answers your account.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is Sunday free?

The app is free and open source. The AI behind it costs money: a Sunday plan (from ₹799/month) includes it with nothing to set up, or use your own OpenRouter key and pay OpenRouter directly.

What does a plan include?

Every plan includes a monthly AI usage allowance, and Pro has more than twice as much as Plus. Settings shows what percentage you've used. Log in from Sunday and it works, no keys. The allowance resets on your billing date, and you can cancel any time from your account.

Can I switch between a plan and my own key?

Yes. Paste your own OpenRouter key when you first open Sunday (or run sunday key) — it's used instead of the plan whenever it's set. Remove it and Sunday goes back to your plan.

Does my data leave my Mac?

Your notes, files, email and logins stay on your Mac. Only the model calls go out — through your Sunday plan or your own key. Remote access is off until you set it up.

Which Macs does it run on?

Macs with Apple Silicon (M1 or newer). The app brings everything it needs; the Terminal install needs Node.js 24 or newer.

The Mac app or the Terminal install?

Same Sunday either way. The app has everything built in, lives in the menu bar and updates itself — pick it unless you like the command line. Already using Sunday from Terminal? Quit it, open the app and choose I already use Sunday: your memory, chats, AI settings and Remote pairing come across.

Do I need Obsidian?

No. Sunday's memory is a folder of markdown files. Obsidian is a nice way to browse and edit them, but it's optional.

Can I use it from my phone?

Yes. In Settings → Remote, show a pairing code and type it at app.sundaybot.me on your phone, or pair Telegram. Sunday keeps running on your Mac.

Is Sunday the same as Sutra?

Yes. Sutra was renamed to Sunday in version 0.1.8. Your data carries over, and the sutra command still works.

Give your Mac a second brain.

Free and open source. Download the app, or install in one line.
